Why every home should have this amazing raw ingredient

28th February 2009

• Why not all supermarket honeys are as
good as the labels suggest, and how to
pick the best stuff every time

• How to improve your health with
propolis and bee pollen

• A tip for rheumatoid arthritis, immune
system and digestive problems

I've written many emails on this subject....

It's even a big part of the book The Honey Garlic
and Vinegar Miracle which I published last year.

So you'll not be surprised to know that I'm a BIG
fan of manuka honey.

This extremely active form of honey from New
Zealand is a powerful natural antiseptic, skin
healer, digestive aid and antibiotic. It's
packed full of antioxidants that fight inflammation
and free radicals. And its zinc and B vitamins
support your nerve function and speed up
recovery from infections.

It's so good it's even used in hospitals, on
battlefields and as a vital medicine in war torn
regions of the world like Iraq.

If you haven't tried it you should. It's wonderful
stuff.

And if you want to try the most powerful, raw,
version of this honey ever made available to
people in the UK.... (as if you've gone to New
Zealand and scooped the stuff out of the hive with
your bare hands)... have a look at this website:

But a warning...

Despite my continued enthusiasm for manuka
honey, you might be surprised by today's email.

Because I'd like to warn you about a potential
problem with buying any old manuka honey from
the supermarket.

Food companies have been eager to get in on the
action. The big price ticket on the jars is too
alluring for them to resist.

Legally I can't name the specific brands, but some
big layers have released versions of manuka
honey, all boasting the same health benefits.

Trouble is, where honey has been over-treated and
left in poor storage conditions, it will not
retain its natural enzymes.

Worse, many of these honeys are pasteurised
and heated to over 70 degrees - in some known
cases, up to 80 degrees. This gives those
delicate enzymes a hammering and leaves the
honey fairly useless as a natural remedy.

So when you shop in the supermarket for a big
brand of manuka honey, be careful you're getting
the best stuff.

If you want to guarantee that your manuka honey
is the real deal, then you need to know where
your honey comes from and how it has been treated.

That's every step of the way... from the hive to
your home.
How to guarantee you get only fantastic,
powerful healthy honey

Obviously, tracking honey is difficult to do. I don't
expect for a minute that you'll spend hours
investigating the provenance of every single jar
you buy.

Fair enough. Me neither.

This is why I've spent a long time forging a
relationship with THE best producers of manuka
honey. Green Bay are organic certified, single
estate producers from New Zealand.

They don't blend the honey, and don't over heat it.
They always pack their honey at 37 degrees. This
is lower than the Soil Association's guideline
temperature of 50ēC and FAR below the 80ēC of
many commercial brands.

I regularly talk to the head honchos of Green Bay
regularly on the phone about their latest
innovations and offers. They love what The Good
Life Letter is trying to do as much as I appreciate
their integrity as honey producers.

Which means I get special access to some really
unique deals. Like this...

Your only chance to try this raw honey packed
with BEE POLLEN

This week Green Bay are offering something very
special for 500 readers on a first come, first served
basis.

They have 500 jars of the rawest manuka honey
you could ever try. It's untreated, so that the
natural enzymes, phytonutrients and higher
activity levels are all conserved.
More importantly, it has been filtered with a
coarse strainer only. This means that the honey
retains all that valuable bee pollen and propolis.

And these are powerful little substances you just
HAVE to try.

• Propolis is used by bees to sterilise the
hive. This protects them from the spread
of bacteria, viruses and fungi. It also
appears to help stimulate the human
immune system. During both world wars
propolis was used to prevent infection and
speed up recovery from wounds.

• Bee pollen contains B vitamins for
energy, vitamin C for immune support and
a wide range of minerals. Research from
the Ukraine suggests that pollen can help
ease the digestive disorders experienced
by people with rheumatoid arthritis.

As well as having all the essential nutrients,
enzymes and other goodies you could want, this
honey is really fresh.

It arrived in UK in early February and was packed
last week in Carmarthen. It arrives in the Green
Bay warehouse on Tuesday morning, ready for
immediate dispatch.

To misquote the blokes from MasterChef...

'Honey doesn't get rawer than this!'

As a further sweetener (sorry, bad honey-based
pun) Green Bay are offering these 500 jars at a
reduced price.

Buy 2 jars and get 10% off... buy 6 and get 15%
of... and buy 12 and you'll get 20% off.

All the details are on their excellent website. But if
you want some, you need to be quick, there are
just 500 jars available in the world.

Seriously you can't buy this anywhere else except
from this website. And these are the only 500 jars
in existence. The rest is... well... still in the hive!

I'm really pleased that Good Life readers will have
the first chance to get this before anyone else.
